Directions
Summit campground is located 3.5 miles south of the Little Missouri River on Highway 85. It is just west of the highway on a bypass road. Road construction is on-going on US Highway 85 and may be difficult to access.
Amenities
- Summit Trail no longer is open from the campground to the largest Rocky Mountain juniper tree in North Dakota or the Maah Daah Hey Trail. Access to the largest Rocky Mountain Juniper tree is via the MDHT from the CCC trailhead
- 3 single unit camp spurs
- Camping spurs including picnic table, fire ring and parking area
- Handicap accessible toilets
- Camping fee is $10.00 per night. First come, first serve. No reservations
