This crossing is a work in progress. Currently, December 2024, the guide posts on each bank are missing but in low water the puncheon is visible. The creek bed is very soft mud. This particular crossing is only four feet wide. Horse back riders are advised to walk their horse straight across – don’t cut corners. This crossing is near Mile Post 56 on the MDHT.
