This Little Missouri River crossing has good bottom and is easily crossed in low water, however every year it changes with rain storms and spring runoff, so one must cross slowly and carefully. The trail from the river to the top of the ridge on Forest Service Road 708 just west of the river climbs 300 feet and has numerous switchbacks to traverse to the top. An excellent hike with breath taking views. This crossing is near Mile Post 94.
