Real time river information
This crossing has concrete “tile” (18″ x 18″) strung together with cables. The concrete pads don’t stretch far enough into the bank so the first and last 15 or 20 feet at this crossing will be soft. As with most creek crossings in the badlands the creek bed is composed of soft mud. The submerged crossing through the main part of the creek keeps users from sinking into the mud. Horse riders may want to dismount and walk their horse across the creek on the crossing.
