Overview
The Midway Marker is located at mile post 49, about one mile south of the Forest Service Road 712 from mile post 50, or 1/2 mile north on the Maah Daah Hey Trail from Forest Service Road 719. It feature a 4 x 6 x 6′ stainless steel post with all the trail worker’s names, partners, the trail name and turtle symbol on it. This midway point is for the original Maah Daah Hey Trail length of approximately 98 miles. It is also a location for a published geocache site. This is also a real photo op site as is the table rock south about 1/4 mile from this marker. The huge table rock is on the north side of the trail.
